Chris' diverse experiences make him an excellent person to observe and take life lessons from. He has traveled all over the country and interacted with many strange and unordinary characters. The first lesson that Christopher McCandless taught himself was to not be influence by society and the thoughts of other people. This is a good lesson to know even if Chris may take it to a extreme level. Another thing that Chris would love for all of us to learn would be that you don’t need to take help from others. However when McCandless does this in the story he finds many difficulties that could have been solved very easily if he had take the help offered to him. Also we learn from McCandless that you need to have friends to talk to and relate with. His friends are they people that he can always fall back on and count on to help him if he really needed it. These important lessons come from someone who has always lived life it its fullest and therefore we should all try to follow these.
